David Strnad

Head of Logistics Škoda Auto

Ing. David Strnad, Ph.D., has been working for Škoda Auto for 22 years. He has held managerial positions in production and logistics since 2008. He started to gain his first foreign experience in the Volkswagen Group in 2010, when he had the opportunity to work at the Audi Group's Neckarsulm plant through the development programme for young managers. In 2014, he became Head of Logistics Planning at Škoda Auto with responsibility for planning at all the company's plants in the Czech Republic and abroad. In this position, he is behind projects such as the fully automated small parts warehouses at the Kvasiny and Mladá Boleslav plants. In 2018-2019, he headed the Volkswagen Group's logistics in Kaluga, Russia. From July 2020, he will newly take over the position of Head of Logistics at Škoda Auto.
